MORE INFOAmmonia’s demand is expected to 4-fold by 2050. Currently mainly used as a fertilizer and in industrial applications, this demand can increase at a much higher multiple with its substantial potential to power cars with fuel cells, trucks and aircraft. Ships will soon be powered by ammonia.
As we head into a fully decarbonized fossil fuel-free world, ammonia will play a very important role in the future of energy. The best carrier of hydrogen in its liquid form, ammonia is currently mostly used as a fertilizer with X tons per year.
With an expected global population of 10 billion people by 2050, the demand for food, fertilizers and consequently ammonia is expected to increase 4-fold. Without taking into consideration the high probability of ammonia being used as a fuel for cars with fuel cells, trucks, and aircraft. There are currently ammonia engines being produced for ships.
Virtually 100% of the ammonia produced today is done in industrial-sized plants. 91% of the ammonia is done in grey or blue format with natural gas or coal in most cases with a high amount of CO2 emissions involved.
The production of ammonia is currently shifting to green ammonia where renewable energy is used along with a new manufacturing process. The current process for manufacturing ammonia has been the same for over 100 years.
CONTACT USLaunched December 6th, 2023, Sigma A7 is a brand-new breakthrough proprietary technology 3 container-size green ammonia production facility. Developed to generate green ammonia to serve farms, mining companies, and industries.
The ammonia market currently involves heavy industry and an extensive logistics chain. The A7 is an industry changer where ammonia can be produced locally next to its clients.
With only a 6-month production timeframe, we are launching the A7 with a significant discount offer to gain a high number of early adopters and market share.
There is a rare opportunity to enter the ammonia market and produce ammonia at strategic key locations next to its buyers. Local ammonia production is a revolution in the supply chain.
Through extensive research and development, our in-house engineering team collaborating with engineers globally has transformed a regular industrial ammonia-sized plant into a compact 3 x 40HQ container production facility that delivers up to 1 ton of ammonia per day (on a continuous 24-hour flow).
With a very attractive payback period and low CAPEX cost the A7 has a production time of only 6 months by following ASME + CE standards and guidelines the A7 can be exported to multiple countries/regions such as the USA and European Union.
In development and scheduled to launch in February 2024 the Sigma Green Exchange (SGE) will allow producers of ammonia to sell to buyers their ammonia inventory on a fixed price or dynamic auction-based system.
Structured as a marketplace we will actively push the exchange on the related buyer industries so there can be enough liquidity to fulfil purchase orders of our client’s productions.
All ammonia produced via the A7 on renewable energy can use the Sigma Green Ammonia Certified Seal which can be showcased by your buyers further increasing the value of your ammonia.
